Several years ago Brian McLaren looked over at his homosexual son and then wrote a paper in which he told Christianity at large-  Hey guys let's ignore what God's Word says about Man-Bedders (you know, men who take other men to bed the way husbands and wives are meant to bed together) then he advised that we put this Man-Bedder issue on the shelf for 5 years and not confront these sinners with their sin or call them to repentance or to trust in Christ to save them from the Hell they deserve for their sin in the same way you and I likewise deserve to burn in Hell for ours.......

Brian McLaren Leads Commitment Ceremony At Son's Same-Sex Wedding

(a wasteful nod to tradition while trampling both Christianity and marriage).

Brian McLaren, author of A New Kind of Christian and a prominent Christian speaker (he's not a Christian), led a non-traditional marriage commitment ceremony this weekend, according to The New York Times.


Held at the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase, Maryland, this ceremony included "traditional Christian elements," but no bride. And the groom—one of them—was McLaren's son, Trevor McLaren. The Times reports that Trevor McLaren wed Owen Ryan Saturday in Washington, D.C., followed by the afternoon commitment ceremony.

Brian McLaren, who formerly was chair of the board for Sojourners, is among a minority of evangelical progressives (he's not an evangelical either) who advocate that the church should abandon heterosexism and move toward reconciliation with homosexuals.
