The Baptist Hymnal p. 530

The Witness of the People of God - Testimony

I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians,
both to the wise and to the foolish.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power
of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the
Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness
of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written,
“The righteous shall live by faith.”

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy
and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may
discern what is the will of God, what is good and
acceptable and perfect.

Romans 1:14, 16-17, 12:1-2
